Welcome to the SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) Common Findings course!
As a Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) or Workforce Solutions office staff member, you have a very important job. You help people find good jobs so they can support themselves.
Federal rules and TWC policy state that case management must be a highly skilled service. It must be more than just collecting signatures or doing basic paperwork. Because our offices are busy, it is easy to take shortcuts. Recently, federal reviews found some common errors in how we run the SNAP E&T program.
We developed this training to help you fix those mistakes. We want to make sure we follow all the rules and give our participants the best help possible to achieve self-sufficiency.
