All Board/Board Contractor and Texas Workforce Commission employees, who complete Fact-Finding for Fraud, Waste and Abuse as part of their job duties must take this training. After completing this course, you will have a basic understanding of:
- Define Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA).
- Explain the “Fraud Triangle”.
- Discuss the ethical responsibilities of a fact-finder.
- Define “Clear and Convincing Evidence”.
- Differentiate it from other standards of proof.
- Establish Known vs. Should’ve Known.
- Explain how and when to report fraud (FDCM 32 vs. PIRTS).
- Differentiate routing for employee-related incidents.
- Understand reporting timelines.
